Leigh Matson loved gaming. It was a way of life - for approximately 14 years, playing video games is what she planned her day around. Miraculously she was able to see what had happened and made the decision to change. She freed herself from the need for gaming and now, four years later, she is sharing her experience with the world.
What I love about Leigh is that there is no rah-rah about I did that and now I'm doing this. She is just a young woman sharing her experience. Make of it what you will, she seems unattached to your response yet dedicated to her project which is called 'The Reality of Gaming.' You can listen and watch her talk about gaming on her YouTube channel The Reality of Gaming and read her blogs at The Reality of Gaming. You can listen to an interview with Leigh's mother, Julie Matson, here.
Carmel Reid had been planning to immigrate from the UK to Australia in November 2016. But as often happens, best-laid plans require re-arranging. Carmel is now living in Australia but one of the outcomes of that three month delay was that she started posting on Facebook and ended up posting for 365 consecutive days. We discuss the delay, the Facebook posts, why she has moved to Australia (a relationship) and what she thinks of life in Australia.
You’ll enjoy Carmel’s ‘realness’, her openness and her practical approach to life. She is in relationship with Nick Bason who I interviewed a couple of years ago. Nick’s interview was with his daughter, Rosie, and grand-daughter, Ocean, - an interview with 3 Generations which you can listen to here. |
Gayle CueGayle is innately curious about people; how they see the world, how they position themselves in the world and why they do what they do. She loves interviewing people for these same reasons. BE NOTIFIEDSubscribe here to receive notice of new interviews as they are released.
