Continuing with our interviews with the North American Students of the Livingness, today we meet Elizabeth Douglas from Nova Scotia, Canada. Somewhere in the interview, she mentions that she is 72 years of age, but I'm going to tell you right up the front so that when you are listening to her, you can fully appreciate how remarkable her life is, especially for her age! As she says in the interview, she doesn't even contemplate that there is a 'retirement age.'
Along with her volunteer work in a hospital with patients facing the end of life, she also offers women's support groups (near and far from her home). Even with this busy external life, you will have a sense of how she continues to prioritise her own inner journey. I love delving into the life of an esoteric student, seeing just how ordinary their life is, while also being extraordinary in the simplest of ways. Comments are closed.

Gayle CueGayle is innately curious about people; how they see the world, how they position themselves in the world and why they do what they do. She loves interviewing people for these same reasons. BE NOTIFIEDSubscribe here to receive notice of new interviews as they are released.
