This interview is filled with good information. Firstly, you get to meet the lovely Anna McCormack. She's a great role model for someone who is passionate about what they do - and wondering if they can turn that passion into a business. She has done just that. After discovering her own interest in social media, she became a volunteer social media coordinator for a non-profit organisation that she is part of. Seeing the growth of that organisation, based on social media activity, she decided 'Why not offer this to others, particularly businesses who are ready to grow their footprint and increase their customer base.'
In this interview, there are some good tips on the how and why of social media. Whether it is a personal account, for an organisation or for growing a large or small business, social media is part of life in the 21st century. Beacon Social Media helps other business owners learn and use social media to enhance their customer relationships.
Dorothy Carlile is the oldest student I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing. At 87, she is still going strong within herself, although the body is, of course, slowing down.
Dorothy lives in New Zealand so first came across the work of Universal Medicine through meeting a student of The Way of the Livingness. She did eventually come to Australia and says, “Meeting Serge and, in time, seeing how the whole Benhayon family are with each other showed me another way of how to love and be gentle with each other on a daily basis. This was the complete opposite of how I had experienced life.” This interview is living proof that it is never too late to open our eyes and our hearts. PS For those of you who would like to read Dorothy’s 'underwear story' you will find the blog on Women in Livingness which you can read here.
Lieke was from Holland. Josh lived in New Zealand. Yet their paths crossed, not in person but in cyber space. In the age of technology this is a perfectly normal place to bump into your future partner. As the relationship blossomed, they had just a few little logistical problems to work out, like how to arrange to meet in person. Eventually when the relationship hit full bloom, they were then faced with other logistical decisions like which country to live in. Join me on this delightful journey of Josh and Lieke falling in love and making decisions about their future. By the way, they decided on Belgium - where English is not one of the three national languages. They make it all sound so easy.
Rebekah Muntelwit was raised in Northern Queensland, Australia. She was one of six children in the family home and further surrounded by an extended family living in the area. So moving down to the Gold Coast, as she did following high school, would have been considered by many to be a Big Move. According to Rebekah it was that move that gave her the courage and confidence to move yet again, this time to Vancouver, Canada with her partner, Ben French. In this interview we catch up with Rebekah only a few weeks after arriving in Canada. She seems to have relocated from the southern hemisphere to the northern in a steady rhythm that finds her already employed and enrolled in further studies for her chosen career. You can feel the ease within Rebekah as she takes herself out into the world. She acknowledges that understanding 'purpose' has helped her make the transition into a new segment of life.
Desiree Delaloye, originally from Switzerland, immigrated to Australia in 2001. She is well known for her amazing ability to illustrate and produce unique logos. The logos are easily recognisable as representative of the individual or business that they were created for. In this interview I asked what her process is to come up with these individualised images. You can find out more about her work as a graphic artist at Design-Arts. In recent years, Desiree's entrepreneurial efforts have also included healing products, which you can learn more about at Feather Light Productions. Her latest venture is with children's books, which she co-authors with Tanya Curtis. So naturally, she also decided to create a boutique publishing company, SunLight Ink Publishing, in order to print and distribute the publications. Listen to the interview to learn more about how they raised the money to donate 1700 books to Papua New Guinea's literacy program.

If you don't know Dragana Brown, google Huffington Post UK and put her name in the search field. Reading just one of her articles will give you a good idea of the passion and power of this woman. We start the interview with her early childhood in Yugoslavia. After finding out how she ended up in the UK we move on to what it takes to be an advocate for Freedom of Speech and Truth in Journalism. At the conclusion of the interview Dragana describes the change that occurred in her and the change that happened to her writing after her first Universal Medicine presentation.
The change that she shares sheds some insight onto the previous interview with Michael Brown, her son, when he is talking about his relentless inquiry on her home from her first presentation by Serge Benhayon. Enjoy these back-to-back son and mother interviews. You can listen to an interview with Dragana's son, Michael Brown here.
You’ll enjoy this interview with Michael Brown. It is so refreshing to speak to a 21 year old who is putting himself out to the world because, in his words, “My life is too good not to share.”
Michael is studying a Bachelor in Mathematics and Statistics as well as working at a large supermarket in London, serving as a team leader, applying for managerial duties. He also shares how he woke up one day and thought he could play the piano so he went out and bought a keyboard and a couple of months later he was playing at a friend’s wedding in front of 150 people. Brave, eh! And you’ll love his idea about Philosophy on Whiteboard. Enjoy! Oh, BTW, Michael is the son of Dragana Brown (who will be the guest in the next Fiery Service interview.) You can listen to an interview with Michael's mother, Dragana Brown here.
This interview is a little out of the ordinary because it is an interview WITH me rather than by me.
I was recently cleaning up computer files and came across this audio recording that I had forgotten all about. Sarah Flenley and I were working on a UniMed project a few years ago and we were talking about the need for more people with interviewing skills. Sarah expressed an interest in doing interviews so – I may have suggested she interview me for the practice. I can’t remember because it was November 2014, so there has been a lot of water under the bridge since then. When I re-listened to the interview last week, I thought that Sarah did a great job so I’ve asked her permission to share it with the Fiery Service listeners. I’ve been interviewed several times over the years but generally about some specific project or event I was involved in. This interview is about my early years in Byron Bay, starting community radio and interviewing, which is something I love doing. The interview starts with Sarah asking me WHY I do volunteer community work. Kate Gamble has always been interested in how people relate and communicate. This led her to study a BA in communications, majoring in Media Arts and Production at the University of Technology in Sydney Australia. She has been selected for the Marketing Academy Scholarship in 2017 and our interview focuses on her career and the Marketing Academy program. Perhaps it will surprise you, as it did me, to discover the values of the Ageless Wisdom in today's corporate world. You can find out more about the amazing Kate Gamble on her website.
