You’ll enjoy this interview with Michael Brown. It is so refreshing to speak to a 21 year old who is putting himself out to the world because, in his words, “My life is too good not to share.”
Michael is studying a Bachelor in Mathematics and Statistics as well as working at a large supermarket in London, serving as a team leader, applying for managerial duties. He also shares how he woke up one day and thought he could play the piano so he went out and bought a keyboard and a couple of months later he was playing at a friend’s wedding in front of 150 people. Brave, eh! And you’ll love his idea about Philosophy on Whiteboard. Enjoy! Oh, BTW, Michael is the son of Dragana Brown (who will be the guest in the next Fiery Service interview.) You can listen to an interview with Michael's mother, Dragana Brown here.
This interview on Bay FM Community Radio with Chris James took place a couple of days after Fukushima nuclear accident in 2011 - which is the reference at the beginning of the recording. He begins by talking about emotion-free music, played from your inner-heart which gives the listener an indication that Chris is not your run of the mill musician. When he woke up to energetic responsibility it caused many things to change in how he plays, sings and teaches music - including why he took his entire library of 12 CDs off the market! The interview with Gayle Cue covers a lot of ground, literally from world tours to teaching children in schools. You can find out what Chris is currently up to at Chris James.
Chris James is interviewed in 2008 by Gayle Cue on Bay FM Community Radio. Chris teaches Internationally on the healing power of sound and song through our own voices. In this interview he talks about his discovery of learning to 'feel' the music which sounds unusual for some one who has been travelling the world for decades teaching music but what he is talking about is feeling the energy of the music. It's about tuning up our sense of self love.
