Marika Cominos is a yoga and complimentary therapies practitioner and Counsellor. For many years, Marika has also been an executive assistant to high level executives and a project manager on short to medium term contracts in corporate assignments. In this interview we talk about her role in the corporate world. It is inspiring to hear that how she lives her life affects those she works with. Often we think we have to "do" something, accomplish something, convince or manoeuvre others to our point of view but as Marika shares with us here, it is as easy as showing up as your natural and true self. The rest just happens!
Adele Leung is a visual consultant working in Hong Kong. She works behind the camera as a photographer, designer and fashion stylist. Now she also works in front of the camera as a role model of a woman who accepts herself. In this interview, I asked Adele about her exploration of publishing selfies on Facebook and how that brought her to a place of acceptance within herself. Adele is possibly the only Student of the Livingness in Hong Kong and I queried how she sustains this - all on her own. I also asked what she felt the biggest change has been with her since starting to study and live the Ageless Wisdom. You can find out her amazing answers in this short interview.

Joel Levin lives with his wife and two teenage boys in Perth WA. Through his business, Aha! Consulting, he offers facilitation, training and supports strategic planning for community groups and organisations. In his spare time he writes. Joel writes about life, sometimes sharing his own journey and often writing in a style that will remind you of Aesop’s Fables. I’ve been a fan of Joel’s writing for some years, so I really enjoyed speaking with him about how he discovered the writer within. Joel writes for a number of websites but the good news is that he has collected many of his blogs in one place and you can read them at Joel Levin.
Susan Evans is in her sixties, has been working as a retail manager for the past twelve years, is reasonably secure financially and within herself. Life seemed particularly good having found a philosophy and religion that is fulfilling and has brought her a deeper connection with herself and others. Then one fateful day, a couple of years ago, she is given a diagnosis of lung cancer. How do you find your way forward from there? According to Susan, the way forward is to embrace the experience, not fight it. She said to me "I don't have cancer, my body does." You can learn more about her journey in this interview.
Welcome to the first in the 2017 series of interviews with Students of The Livingness. The interviews will run approximately 15 minutes, requiring both the interviewee and myself to get right to the point!
The first interview is with Liane Mandalis, a woman who has reawakened within her an ability to see things as they truly are and to communicate this truth with clarity. I call her a modern day Oracle. According to Liane, the role of an Oracle in times past was to be able to read the energies at play in certain situations so as to be able to forewarn or make clearer to humanity what the potential outcomes may be should a certain path or pattern, unaltered, be followed. With this understanding, the querent was then able to make a choice as to what his or her next move would be based on the information the Oracle had provided. Because now, in our current era, we each have greater access to Soul than ever before and therefore more able to discern for ourselves what is true and not true, the role of an Oracle has changed. Rather than predicting the future, they become instead an effective communicator for the teachings of the Ageless Wisdom in the sense that through their spoken or written word these teachings are made further accessible. *** If you would like to be notified about future 15 Minutes of Flame interviews when they are released, please use the subscribe button on the right of this screen.
In this series of interviews we hear from Marcia Owen, a practitioner of Esoteric Yoga and from three of the participants in a recent on-line yoga course. Marcia shares the origins of Esoteric Yoga Stillness Program for Women as well as its purpose. The participants, Deborah Hansen, Jeanette Macdonald and Rachel Mascord share their personal experience of the course and how it has affected their lives. By some accounts the changes are seamless and feel like a natural expansion and for others the changes are more radical. As Rachel Mascord says in her interview "In the stillness, you start to hear the voice of truth."
You'll be touched by the stillness of the program just by visiting their website Esoteric Yoga Stillness Program
Bernadette Curtin, Josephine Bell and Judy Felix discuss "What is ageing?" Is it just a physical change, or an attitude, a curse or a blessing? Rather than having hit their 'use by date' these three women are an example of what 'ageing with vitality' looks and sounds like. The interviewees are aged from 57 to 67. You'll enjoy listening to them discuss Elder Energy. After talking with them, I decided Elder Energy is both the wisdom of an individual life as well as the wisdom of the ages. This interview with Josephine Bell, Judy Felix and Bernadette Curtin covers it all from the physical to the metaphysical.
Three generations of a seafaring family (Nick, Rosie & Ocean Bason) are interviewed by Gayle Cue. NIck has been on the water since he was a Sea Cub at age 7. We find out from Rosie what it is like to grow up on the ocean, not going to school and wanting to be 'normal'. And from Ocean, we get the details of her life in that open, unguarded way that only children can offer. All three share how their lives have changed, individually and as a family, since attending Universal Medicine presentations. I absolutely love this interview.
